Our campus belongs to the whole family and it shows in the variety of events scheduled that bring the community together.Check the calendar now for these events and make plans to attend—all of them!
Students have a unique opportunity to show their talents, expand their interests and knowledge, and gain experience in this vast variety of school events which are conducted on the local level.

Phonics Academia Exhibition
Phonics Academia holds this event every year, providing a platform for the students to explore the scientific world flavored with modern concepts and help their parents to peep inside the abilities of their children.
Annual Day
Annual Day is the true depiction of our students’ vitality, talent and positivity inspired in them by their teachers and beautifully expressed by their performances on the stage. It thus becomes a source of inciting positivity for both the participants and viewers. Our annual day is laced with thought provoking role plays, innovative performances on rhymes, inspirational songs and funny yet thought-provoking skits.
Sports Day
School is where children spend most of their time each day, hence it has to be a place that enriches their mind, body and soul alike. Phonics Academia is always vigilant about nurturing all these aspects of its students’ lives. Our school’s Sports Week is a much awaited and anticipated event for every child, for no one amongst the lot is neglected from taking part in the annual sports competitions. A number of games that our students compete.
Speech and Poetry Competition
Speech and poetry competition, is one of the norms of Phonics Academia where the focus is laid on developing literacy skills, confidence of public speaking and mannerism of delivering rightful knowledge to the audience. The winners of speech &poetry competition are honored by publishing their insightful content in the school magazine.
Gala & Baked Sale
The annual gala and Baked Sale is a fundraising event for educational program enhancements at Phonics Academia and to support the school’s student-founded charity, Youth Empowering Progress. Dedicated parents collaborate, plan and work many hours to throw Concordia’s party of the year where the entire community comes together to celebrate and support the school.
Pink Out
For the Pink Out event, the school partners with the local non-profit More Than Aware, which supports cancer awareness and promotes the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The event takes place in January by wearing pink shirts in solidarity of breast cancer awareness.
MINI-MAKER FAIRE
The Mini-Maker Faire is a wildly popular community event that attracts hobbyists, tinkerers, artisans, craftspeople to showcase their accomplishments with an appreciative audience. The event also features workshops, music and performances, talks and presentations from both amateur and professional makers.
Local Cultural Festival
The Local Cultural Festival is an awesome event held during the school day to celebrate and showcase the many cultures at Phonics Academia. Parent volunteers from each of the international groups represented in the school plan and create exciting booths that showcase their cultures through food, music, activities, pictures and more that are visited by students and parents alike.
Book Week
Promoting reading is important all year but for one week of the year it is given a special focus, including a visiting children’s author. Students and teachers are encouraged to dress up as their favourite book character, and in the Primary section of the school this involves a parade of classes. It is a much anticipated event on the calendar.
Sports Awards
This event is held as a dinner for students and parents at an outside venue and is an opportunity to recognize the individual athletes as well as the teams in the school. It is a formal occasion, where the full range of exceptional athletic achievement is fully appreciated. Coaches make selections for their outstanding athletes and a few of the athletes also demonstrate their artistic talents as well.
Transition
Every stage studenthas a special transition assembly attended by parents and all teachers of consent key Stages. The students themselves make speeches and provide special performances. This event marks the students’ transition into the section of the school and follows an orientation and lessons in the Secondary building.
Graduation
This is the major academic highlight of the Early, Primary and Secondary year, as the all classes graduates from the school. It follows a traditional format, and is attended by parents, relatives and local dignitaries. Special awards are also given to exceptional students. The event is followed by a reception held in the main school building.
